We've moved to a new cloud backend with improved sync and zero-knowledge encryption. Follow these steps to transfer your existing data.

Improved sync across all your devices
Download the latest version of ArmoryHub from the App Store. The migration feature is available in version 3.0 and later.
If you have an existing PIN set up, you'll be prompted to enter it. This unlocks your current data so it can be prepared for migration.
The app will perform a security tear down, decrypting your existing local data and preparing it for the new cloud-based encryption system.
You'll be given the option to create a ZIP backup of your data before migrating. While optional, this is highly recommended as a safety net.
Sign up for a new ArmoryHub account with your email. This will be your login for the web app and all devices.
Choose a 6-digit PIN for the new encryption system. This PIN encrypts your data before it's uploaded—it's never sent to our servers.
Tap 'Migrate Data' to begin. Your data will be encrypted with your new PIN and uploaded to the secure cloud. This may take a few minutes depending on your collection size.
Once migration completes, verify your firearms, ammunition, and accessories transferred correctly. Check photos and documents too.
You're done! Sign in at portal.armoryhub.app with your email and enter your PIN to access your collection from any device.
Your PIN encrypts all your data. We cannot recover your data if you forget your PIN. Write it down and store it safely.
Your old iCloud-synced data will remain in iCloud until you delete the old app. The new system uses a separate cloud backend.
Your App Store subscription will continue to work. You can also manage your subscription through the new web app.
After migrating on one device, simply sign in with your account on other devices. Use the same PIN to decrypt your data.
Your old local/iCloud data remains untouched until you manually delete the old app. The migration copies your data to the new cloud system.
Yes! You'll need to enter your existing PIN to unlock your current data, but then you can choose a completely new PIN for the new encryption system.
No. Migrate once on your primary device. Then simply sign in on other devices with your account and enter your PIN.
Your original data is not affected. Try again, and if issues persist, contact support@armoryhub.app.
Yes. You can create a new account without migrating. Your old data will remain in the old app until you delete it.
