CRITICAL: ENCRYPTION + iCLOUD SYNC
🔓 While App Is Open (Unlocked):
When encryption is enabled and the app is unlocked, data is decrypted in memory for app use. This decrypted data continuously syncs to iCloud in plaintext while you're actively using the app.
🔒 After Closing/Backgrounding:
When you close or background the app, all encrypted data is automatically re-encrypted. The encrypted data then syncs to iCloud, replacing the plaintext version. Anyone accessing your iCloud without your encryption key sees useless encrypted blobs.
🚫 Encryption Keys NEVER Sync:
Your encryption keys are permanently stored only in device Keychain. They never upload to iCloud. If you lose your only device with the encryption key, your data cannot be recovered—ever.
📱 QR Code Required for Multiple Devices:
To use the same encrypted data on multiple devices, you must manually transfer your encryption key using offline QR code transfer. Export a QR code from Device A, scan it with Device B. This happens entirely offline—keys never touch the internet.

PRIVACY OVERVIEW
✓ End-to-End Encryption Option: When you enable PIN encryption, your data is encrypted on-device before syncing. Only devices with your encryption key can decrypt it.
✓ Apple Can't Read Encrypted Data: Your encryption key is derived from your PIN and never leaves your device. Even Apple can't access your encrypted data.
✓ ArmoryHub Has No Servers: We don't have servers. We can't see your data. Everything syncs directly between your devices and iCloud using Apple's CloudKit.
✓ Optional Sync: iCloud sync is completely optional. You can use ArmoryHub entirely offline with local-only storage if preferred.
